PIANO & VIOLIN CONCERT

Born in Poland in 1985, he began learning violin at the age of six. A graduate with distinction from Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and Royal Conservatory in Brussels, he quickly established himself on a global music scene as both a performer and a teaching artist appearing across Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa and Asia. A member of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Tomasz had a chance to perform under acclaimed conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle and Valery Gergiev. Also, he was a violinist at the Opera House in Wroclaw, Poland, a guest violinist in the KwaZulu Natal Symphony Orchestra in Durban, South Africa and a participant of the Idyllwild Art Summer Program in the US, performing at the Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles. As a chamber musician, Tomasz undertook renown European venues including Palais des Beaux- Arts and Flagey Studio 4 in Brussels, Belgium.

He also participated in international festivals such as Contemporary Music Festival Warsaw Autumn and the International Music Festival in Dinant, Belgium. Tomasz's innovative artistic projects include collaboration with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra for Zubin Mehta's 80th birthday celebration and a Memorial Concert presented by Zakir Hussain at the Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai, India. He was a member John Paul II Chamber Music Foundation and with his fellow musicians, he was featured on the album Floor No. 4 released in Paris in May 2015. As a member of Duo Berkendael together with Magdalena Sas, they promoted Western Classical Music at the European Celebrations performing in Mumbai and New Delhi, India. They were also invited to the Art Chamber Music Festival in Goa, India. Tomasz collaborated with the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi and performed as a soloist in an avant-garde opera "Savitri" of Gustav Holst. He also appeared in concert series "Unlyrics", performing at major concert halls in India with a Swedish pianist Emma Gilljam Tillu.

Emma Gilljam Tillu, piano

Emma Gilljam Tillu is a classical pianist from Sweden. She has a Bachelor of Music in performance from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm followed by a Master of Music in Chamber Music from Scandinavia's top institution the Royal college of Music/Edsberg Manor. She has also participated in several masterclasses by internationally renowned pianists and musicians such as Paul Roberts, Yonty Solomon, Hans Leygraf, The Altenberg Trio and Michel Béroff. She was awarded the Gottfried Boon-scholarship by the Royal Music Academy of Sweden in 2004 and was a finalists in the national competition "Young and Promising" in 2003. Since her graduation in 2007, she has performed in the concert houses around Sweden, at several chamber music festivals, and as a soloist with a number of orchestras.

Emma Gilljam Tillu is a classical pianist from Sweden. Since her graduation in 2007, she has performed in the concert houses around Sweden, at several chamber music festivals, and as a soloist with a number of orchestras. In 2008 she toured extensively in China with the trio "Stockholm Chamber Trio" commissioned by Rikskonserter (Concerts Sweden). Emma likes to collaborate with other art forms, she is the co-founder of the theater company Theater act and she regularly performs in theater performances and dance performances, which has taken her around Europe, India and The United States. Since five years back Emma has her base in Mumbai where she is working as a freelance pianist and piano teacher. In 2015 she did her Mumbai debut as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of India under the baton of Piotr Borkowski at Prithvi Theatre and a year before that with the Bombay Chamber Orchestra performing two different Mozart concertos. She's also been performing solo and chamber music concerts in Delhi, Trivandrum, Pondicherry, Hyderabad and Dehradun.
